Intriguing concept, but in my experience, nothing works except the Start button, and moving icons around.

LaciaStudio responds:

There will be an update today.

I don't like to give negative reviews, but the graphics. Maybe if it were still the golden age of Newgrounds, but in modern times? You'd've have been better off with simplified graphics. (sorry if this is too harsh.) Also, it's possible for a bomb and coin to spawn intersecting, making the coin uncollectable without losing a life.

AdrielNG342 responds:

The Graphics are Hand Drawn, lmao

A bit glitchy at times, but overall, good.

Spoiler alert for the game. If you have not completed the game yet, do not read this review.
You have played the game? Good.
I really like the story of the game, despite how short it is. The creator of the game not allowing you to progress because the game is unfinished? Brilliant. It's also super meta, as, this game couldn't be completed in time for the game jam it was supposedly intended to be a part of, and the story of the game is that it is unfinished? Super meta, and if that isn't intentional then it's an incredible coincidence.

Oversimplified black and white graphics can work, but only when used as an aesthetic. The art style used seems a bit lazy, some might even say bad. Now, I think that anything can be promising with a little bit of polish, so maybe try a bit harder, and I am sorry if this is a bit harsh.

Could do with a bit of polish, but it's fun.

This game is really good, satisfying too. I ask a few things of you, although you do not have to answer if you do not want to.
1: Are you planning on adding more levels, or even a level editor to it?
2: Can I create a trailer/advertisement for this game and upload it to my YouTube?
3: Is this game still in development, or is it the full release?

MrNannings responds:

1. More levels but not a level editor.
2. Yes, thanks for doing that.
3. There will also be a steam release

The movement mechanics are what really set it apart from other games, really unique (although I am bad at it, that's just my lack of skill). Although it definitely would benefit from more features, such as a health system, mobile controls and powerups, it really has potential. I think with more features and again, mobile compatibility, it could be a really fun game.

Pretty cool, but did you really need to replicate the Minecraft ender portal?

pretty good, would like to see a level editor and more puzzle game features.
also, what engine did you use?
